Passco procures 1,562.40 metric tons of paddy

Passco has so far procured 1562.405 metric tons of superior quality paddy from the growers here. Pervez Dahar, Deputy General Manager Passco Hafizabad, said this adding that five procurement centres had been set up at various locations in the district. He said superior quality paddy was being purchased at the rate of Rs 1,250 per 40 kilo. It was learnt that Passco would procure some 20,000 metric tons paddy from the growers and shortly the procurement would be started at Sukheke Mandi as well.
