Corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade were higher early on Wednesday as a drop in the US dollar sparked fund buying, traders said. CBOT soyabeans were also firmer but backed off their early advances and turned choppy. As of 9:38 am CST (1538 GMT), December corn was up 6-1/2 cents at $3.82-1/2 per bushel. January soyabeans were up 1-1/2 cents at $10.47-1/2.
