Sindh Minister for Population Welfare, Syed Ali Mardan Shah on Thursday distributed Rs 4.650 million among the heirs of employees of Sindh Population Welfare Department of Grade 1-18, who had passed away during service. The Minister presented cheques of the amount to heirs of 17 deceased employees at a simple ceremony held at Population Welfare Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Mardan Shah appreciated Population Welfare Secretary Muhammed Siddique Memon and other officers, and said it was the only department, which had given financial assistance to heirs of its deceased employees after completing all legal formalities. He distributed cheques among widows, son, husband, daughter of employee in BPS-1, two employees in BPS-2, four employees in BPS-5 and one employee each in Grade 7, 8, 11, 16, 17 and three employees in Grade 18.
