Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Karachi Police on Thursday morning arrested two persons after an encounter and recovered a kidnapped boy who was being kept in chains. The accused arrested from Pir Bux Goth in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gulshan-e-Maymar, were identified as Qari Aminul Haq alias Abdul Mannan alias Mannat Khan and Fazal Rahim.
According to SP Raja Umer Khattab, the accused had kidnapped 16 year old Mohammed Gul on November 17 from New Sabzi Mandi area for the purpose of ransom and a FIR was filed by kidnapees brother on November 20 at Sohrab Goth Police Station. Police officials said that during operation one KK, three mobile SIMS, used for demanding ransom and one snatched motorcycle were recovered.
