Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani visited Combined Military Hospital (CMH),Rawalpindi on Eid Day and inquired about the health of Army Officers and Jawans who were injured during operations in Swat and South Waziristan.
The Prime Minister appreciated high morale of the troops and said that the whole nation stood united behind its gallant Armed Forces in their fight to rid the country of the menace of terrorism.
He said that the nation valued the sacrifices being made by the Army personnel and assured that the government would continue extending all possible support to the Army in its pursuit to defeat terrorism. Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani also accompanied the Prime Minister. Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani received the Prime Minister on his arrival at CMH.-PR
