Swedish poet Peter Curman planted a 'Peace Tree' at Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) on Tuesday and expressed the hope that the friendship of writers and intellectuals of both the countries will further strengthen. Peter Curman came to Pakistan for receiving the "Quaid-e-Azam International Award for Literature".
The Swedish poet visited different departments of Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) and discussed matters of mutual interest in a meeting with Chairman PAL Fakhar Zaman. Fakhar Zaman said that the "Peace Tree" planted by Peter Curman will nourish the bilateral relations, which he termed, as valuable asset.
