A disabled person working at Cardiology institute Multan on daily wages has appealed to Chief Minister Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif on the eve of International day of disabled to regularise his services under the disabled quota.
The person suffering disability, Muhammad Saleem told APP here on Wednesday that he had been waiting for the regularisation of his job for the last three years. Saleem has experience of providing services during hospital operations as ECG, ETT, and ETO operator and is currently performing duty as operator sterilisation machine.
"Government had announced special quota for disabled persons in different departments. I applied for a job on regular or contract basis three times at the institute-in 2004, 2005, and 2006", he explained. However, he regretted that each time no attention was paid to his application.
"I am 37 years old and job insecurity is knocking at my nerves", said distressed Saleem who appeals to Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for regularising his service on the disable quota and earn lifetime gratitude and blessings of Allah Almighty.
