Deepika Padukone’s leaked picture goes viral

The first look of Bollywood’s most awaited movie of the year ‘Padmavati’ was released today but just a day before its official release, an image of the film’s lead actress Deepika Padukone surfaced on the internet, causing a social media frenzy.

Deepika’s look in the leaked picture looks similar to that of ‘Padmavati’ but the authenticity of the photo is still questionable as it was not shared by any of the official makers of the movie. Some are speculating that the image might be photoshopped, yet Deepika’s royal avatar as Rani Padmani looks divine.

However, the official poster of the movie, which was released on Thursday, has also acquired much attention from almost every Bollywood celebrity. As soon as the official poster was released, many B-Town clebs including Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Vivek Oberoi, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dia Mirza, started liking the picture and tweeted about the movie.

Movie director Farah Khan, who launched Deepika in Bollywood with the super hit movie ‘Om Shanti Om’ also tweeted saying ‘stunning’ on the poster.

‘Padmavati’ also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles, the movie is all set to be released on December 1 this year. This is the third time for Deepika and Ranveer to feature in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie together.
