Federal Minister for Railways Senator Ghulam Ahmed Bilour called on former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and discussed in detail the current political situation in the country. Both the leaders stressed the need of national solidarity and harmony amidst crisis like situation in the country.
They urged the political leadership of the country to avoid mistrust and promote the politics of consensus. Both the leaders also discussed in detail the ongoing military operation in the NWFP and termed it as an urgent need of the hour. Pervaiz Elahi said the Punjab is fully supportive to the fight against terrorism and it would stand with the victims of the war.
