Another security official who sustained serious injuries in Naval Complex gate suicide attack on Tuesday expired on Saturday. According to spokesman of Pakistan Navy Captain Mobeen, the security official Abdul Ghaffar was under treatment in PNS Zafar Hospital, has been died.
"Thus the toll of suicide attack has risen to three" he added. Meanwhile, Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) has released a sketch of the teenage suicide bomber who blew himself at the entrance of the Naval Complex on Wednesday. According to police official the sketch had been prepared with the help of eyewitnesses, who later confirmed that it closely resembled the actual attacker.
The suicide attacker was between 14 and 17 years of age and belonged to Gilgit-Baltistan and he was not familiar with Urdu, the officials said. According to them the young suicide bomber was seemingly forced to carry out the attack and he spent about forty-five minutes near the Naval Complex entrance before he blew himself up.
Police have urged the family of the teenage suicide bomber to contact authorities in Islamabad on Rescue 15 emergency numbers. They have also announced a reward of Rs 2.5 million for anyone who can provide information about the suicide bomber. The identity of informer's will be kept secret, authorities added.
