Leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday met Interior Minister Rehman Malik at Governor's House, Karachi. Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan was also present during the meeting, an official statement said. Among other issues of vital importance, they discussed the co-ordination among allied parties in the government.
Rehman Malik lauded the efforts of Sindh Governor for the promotion of inter-faith harmony and maintenance of law and order in Sindh province. They expressed the resolve that the coalition partners in the government would continue to work with consultation for the prosperity and development of the country.
In this regard, the guidance and role of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani was highly appreciated.
