The KESC is carrying out electricity load shedding in Karachi for 3 hours everyday, in three instalments of one hour each. I live in the Garden West area and for the last two months, my area is facing load shedding of four and a half hour on a daily basis, ie 1 hour 30 minutes per instalment.
I called the complaint centre of the KESC to inquire about this discrimination and was told by the complaint centre staff that they had already informed the high officials KESC of it, but they the (KESC) was not paying any attention to it.
I would like to inform the management of the KESC that we are also receiving electricity bills every month and we are also paying the KESC in the same currency as others do. Then why this extra load shedding of one and half hours everyday? Is any official of the KESC with a conscience, listening?
