Pakistan France Business Alliance is holding its second Trade Performance Awards ceremony in one year. A rather unusual step, but it was imperative for your Executive Committee to clear the back log before leaving office. My Presidency of PFBA will come to an end on July 01, 2010 and it was my desire that I hand over the mantle of responsibility on a clean slate to the incoming President.
This particular ceremony is one with a difference, as unlike the norm, PFBA is covering a period of two years (2007/2008 and 2008/2009). As a consequence, we are now current with the flagship event.
All PFBA events are important, but the Trade Performance Awards ceremony has a special meaning as it gives me an opportunity to share tthe success with the awardees The fact that members have achieved successful results in a trying business environment globally is a reminder of their dedication and commitment to excellence and hard work. I am overwhelmed and encouraged by the number of members participating in this event and I am confident that this trend will continue with the same vitality. I also applaud the award recipients and wish them even greater glory in the future.
