All arrangements have been finalised by the District Government Hyderabad to organise All Pakistan Mushaira in befitting manner tomorrow here at Hasrat Mohani Central District Library. According to programme, Sindh Minister for Trade and Industries Rauf Siddiqui will preside over the Mushaira, while Sindh Minister for Rural Development, Zubair Ahmed Khan will be the chief guest on the occasion.
The poets who are taking part in the Mushaira included Iftikhar Arif and Anwer Masood from Islamabad, Amjad Islam Amjad, Farukha Zuhra, Abbad Tabish and Shakaib Arif from Lahore, Salim Akhtar from Multan, Rasa Chughtai, Sehar Ansari, Dr Pirzada Qasim, Khawaja Rafique, Anwar Shaoor, Athar Shah Khan, Naqqash Kazmi, Gulnar Afrin, Dr Javed, Akhtar Saeed, Rehana Roohi and Qamar Rizvi from Karachi, while from Hyderabad, Anwar Brelvi, Khalish Muzafar, Professor Inayat Ali Khan, Rana Nahid Rana, Imdad Hussaini, Naseer Mirza and Meem Sheen Alam will take part in the Mushaira.
Meanwhile, the District Nazim Hyderabad Kanwar Naveed Jamil, while reviewing the arrangements of Msuhaira said that the event not only encourage the poets of the country but also help in revival of literary activities in the district. He asked the organisers to ensure all facilities to guests poets so that they could not feel any inconvenience during their stay in Hyderabad.
The District Nazim also asked the officers concerned to intensify the security arrangements and prepare a traffic plan with alternate traffic routes in order to avoid any situation of traffic jam. Among the organisers, the District Co-ordination Officer Aftab Ahmed Khatri, Taluka Nazim Hyderabad City Jalilur Rehman and DSP Traffic Haider Abbas Naqvi were also present on the occasion.
