Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani here on Friday has congratulated the entire nation on successful completion of deliberations on NFC Award. PM was received by the Governor Salman Taseer along with the four Chief Ministers of the provinces on his arrival at the Lahore Airport. He was briefed on NFC Award on the occasion.
The Prime Minister who arrived in the city directly went to meet injured of Moon Market blast at Sheikh Zaid and Jinnah Hospital Lahore. He said that those injured in the blast would be treated freely by the government. While talking to journalists he averred that current wave of terrorism in the Country was reaction of steps taken in South Waziristan operation.
The Prime Minister said that terrorists- network and strong points had been successfully destroyed in South Waziristan. He said that they had also destroyed terrorist network in Malakand. Talking of the activities of Black Water and foreigners, he said that instructions had been issued to Home Ministry in this regard.
He said when composite dialogue would start with India, they would bring up the issue of Indian interference. He said that Army backed by the nation had successfully sent back the displaced persons to their homes.
The PM said that all the political parties were endeavouring to bring the nation out of crisis. He said that government was being run by the mutual consent of all the four provinces. He negated that he had reposed non-trust in the activities of Home Ministry and added that his statement recently was given a wrong colour.
