Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry through his directions on different pleas solved the issues of appellants. On an application of daughters of deceased employee of Post Office in which they disclosed that they had not been given pension of her father who was a retired postmaster, directed DG Pakistan Post Office Islamabad to submit the progress report within fifteen days explaining the cause as to why the matter had been pending for the last four years.
On another plea, the action was taken under the direction of the Chief Justice of Pakistan on an application of Ikram-ud-Din r/o Hyderabad against excessive billing by Wapda authorities. An action was also taken under the directions of Chief Justice on an application of Dharmu Lal r/o Quetta complaining against low income and requested for employment of his son after his retirement.
