Lawyers in different cities of southern Punjab held protest demonstration against the ongoing terrorist activities in the country here on Friday. Lawyers completely boycotted the court proceedings and did not appear before the courts in Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Khanewal and Muzaffargarh. Lawyers of high court bar and district bar Multan severely condemned the blasts and said that government failed to tackle the situation of law and order.
They said that the series of suicide attacks is ongoing with the same pace and security agencies remained flop to do something. They demanded of the government to take positive and immediate measures in this regard and should ensure the safety of public. They were holding banners and placards on which slogans against the terrorist activities were inscribed.
