The AHAN (Aik Hunar Aik Nagar) and Furniture Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understanding with a view of identifying and sharing of wood working cluster information and allocation of the physical resources as permissible under policies of both the companies.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) had developed both the companies which are working under the Ministry of Industries and Production. The CEO AHAN Maroof Afzal and Furniture Pakistan's CEO Dr Shahzad signed the MoU at Smeda head office here on Friday on behalf of their respective companies. The main areas of their collaboration include exchange of information with regard to furniture clusters, providing the training and strengthening the institutions.
