Yakoob H Karim, President, Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and industry in a press release issued here on Saturday has wholeheartedly congratulated Chief Minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani and his team to their successful effort to get the share of 9.09 percent from the 7th NFC Award as against 7.17 percent during the current year. Now Balochistan will receive Rs 83 billion as against Rs 53 billion for the current year and subsequently Rs 165 billion in the remaining years.
The Chamber's president termed this achievement of Government of Balochistan as a land mark in the history of Balochistan which will help enhance the economic activities the province thus providing opportunities to its people to raise their living standard and to bring tie province at par with other provinces socially and economically.
Yakoob also appreciated the good gesture and accommodative attitude of all the Chief Ministers and there teams and the Federal Government to resolve the matter of NFC Award amicably under an agreed formula. This will create solidarity harmony and co-ordination between the people of various provinces which is the prime need of the time.
The Chamber's Chief added that with good governance and well planned strategy the Government of Balochistan can use the funds being received under NFC Award to achieve the confidence building and to reduce the feeling of deprivation amongst the people of Balochistan.
The Lasbela Chamber Chief assured the Chamber's co-operation and assistance to the Balochistan Government in its efforts to bring a change in the province whereby creating trace and investment and employment opportunities in the region, which would help raising the living standards of the people of Balochistan.-PR
