Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf NWFP chapter has welcomed the consensus of the provinces on 7th National Finance Commission Award (NFC) and termed it a triumph of all political parties. Provincial President of PTI Asad Qaisar while talking to a party delegation of Chitral chapter here on Saturday, hailed the unity of all federating units on the award and demanded of the NWFP government to ensure transparency in the expenditure of provincial funds.
He suggested that the funds should be utilised for the welfare of people with specific focus on education, health and other uplift projects in the province. Asad Qaisar maintained that the provinces should spend maximum funds on improving the education sector so as to raise the literacy ratio and provide education facilities to the deserving people in every nook and corner of the province. The Provincial President of PTI exchanged views on the organisational matters of the party in district Chitral with the delegation.
