FPCCI Standing Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Education, Literacy and (NFE) in collaboration with Pakistan Disabled Federation (PDF), organised a programme in connection with the world disabled persons day, at the FPCCI. The programme, organised under the Chairmanship of President FPCCI Sultan Ahmed Chawla, was held to boost the moral of the disabled people in Pakistan.
A large number of special persons attended the program and spoke on the occasion. They shared difficulties faced, achievements, successes and the challenges being faced by them in their day to day life and how they are overcoming them. Speaking on this occasion, Chawla said that the International Day of Disabled people reminds us to take care of these people.
He requested the present government to provide job and training opportunities to the disabled people as Islam also teaches to show love and affection to these people. We, as a society, should make the disabled people an active and effective part by providing them training related to various fields, he urged. Vice President FPCCI Muhammad Mansha Churra said that disabled persons should be treated especially as they like to lead their own lives.-PR
