Mixed trend was observed at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday where bulls and bears had a close fight under the lead of trend-setters amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index was up by 4.70 points from to 2,142.44 to 2,147.14 points. Turnover amounted to 785,195 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,090,945 shares.
The horizon of trade contracted from 161 stocks to 153 companies. Majority of stocks (91) closed in positive territory, and 62 closed in negative zone. The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 110,661 shares. The volume of NIB Bank was 83,000 shares. The turnover of Adamjee Insurance was 72,800 shares. Top gainer was Millat Tractors with an increase of Rs 6.31 per share, whereas Siemens engineering was a major loser with a decrease of Rs 8.51 per share.
