The services of senior journalist and former President of Karachi Press Club (KPC) late Najeeb Ahmed, would be long remembered. This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Information Ms Shazia Marri while talking to reporters at the residence of late Najeeb Ahmed, on Tuesday.
The minister condoled with the family members of the deceased and offered Fateha for 'Isal-i-Sawab' to the departed soul. On these moments, she expressed that Najeeb Ahmed was a senior journalist and a very good human being. Ms Shazia Marri announced a financial assistance of Rs 500,000, on behalf of the government, for the family of late Najeeb Ahmed.
She said that she would recommend to the Sindh Chief Minister for more financial assistance for the family. The minister assured that the present democratic government was undertaking measures for the resolution of problems faced by the journalists.
