The Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Tuesday promoted twelve Additional District and Sessions Judges (AD&SJ) to the rank of District and Sessions Judge (D&SJ) on the recommendations of the Provincial Judicial Selection Board.
AD&SJs who have been promoted to D&SJs include Mian Muhammad Anwar Nazir posted at Faisalabad, Shaukat Iqbal Ahmad at Taxila, Mirza Jawad Abid Baig at Chishtian, Nazir Ahmad Gujana at Gujranwala, Abdul Haq at Liaquatpur, Rashid Ahmad at Nankana Sahib, Muhammad Farooq Altaf at Jaranwala, Abdul Majid at Lahore, Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan at Lahore, Raja Akhlaq Hussain at Attock, Mustafa Tanvir Sufwat at TT Singh and Muhammad Khalid Nawaz at Rawalpindi working as Additional Registrar LHC.
Chief Justice also placed the services of D&SJ Shakil Ahmad at the disposal of Government of Punjab for his appointment, as special judge Anti Corruption Court Multan.
