The MoU for better working relationship between the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) was signed on Wednesday. The MoU was signed by the President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sh. Abdul Qayyum and Founder President Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Haji Naseem-ul-Rehman during a meeting held at FCCI.
President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mardan Ambreen Khan Hoti was also present on the occasion. It was witnessed by a large number of executive committee members and members of FCCI. On this occasion, while addressing the audience, President FCCI Sh. Abdul Qayyum, hoped that this MoU would help in establishing an environment of better confidence between the both chambers.
He further said that in the current scenario of economic conditions in Pakistan, all the chambers of commerce and industry should have continuous and strong liaison with each other and should raise their voices unanimously. The President FCCI, on this occasion, assured the Founder President Mardan Chamber to help and provide assistance for the uplift of the people of Mardan especially the business community.
While addressing the audience, President Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry whole heartily appreciated and paid a deep gratitude to the business community of Faisalabad for offering un-matched services and aid for the rehabilitation of the IDPs of Sawat.
While expressing his views on the deteriorating law and order situation and economic crisis, Haji Naseem ur Rehman said there are foreign elements involved who are root cause of present crisis prevailing in the county. They are not only manipulating the industrial crisis by creating artificial energy shortage but also provoking the suicide attacks by financing the extremist elements.
He further disclosed that at present it seems that the government is not serious for our motherland's economic revival. He quoted that there is not even single mega watt electricity generated from hydel sources during past several years in the northern areas. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by senior vice president Ayub Mughal and FCCI shields were presented to the honoured guests.
