Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Lahore, through a communication received here on Thursday, has announced to hold a course for candidates preparing for the PACES component of the MRCP (UK) exam. The course, eighth of its type, organised by SKMCH will include essential topics as history taking and communication skills will be covered in these lectures.
Important ethical issues will be discussed in accordance with current UK laws, said the organisers adding it would also encompass practice of scenarios with the tutors. In the end a Mock exam would be held in which the marking sheets used would be those used by the Royal College to give the candidates a feel for the exam and the marking process. Full PACES exam covering all the stations 1 to 5 would be held on the final day, said the organisers.
