The Karachi Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited has recomposed KSE Meezan 30 Index to take effect from December 21, 2009. According to KSE, seven companies, namely Attock Cement Pakistan, D G Khan Cement, Fauji Fertiliser (BQ), Kohinoor Energy, Packages, Shell Pakistan, and Unilever Pakistan have been included in the Index.
These will replace Abbott Laboratories, BankIslami Pakistan, BOC Pakistan, Bosicor Pakistan, Maple Leaf Cement, Nishat Mills, and Pioneer Cement. The recomposed Index is based on the review period from January 1, 2009 to June 30, 2009.
