Yasir Shah on verge of another milestone
Pakistan’s superstar leg-spinner Yasir Shah is all set to achieve another milestone, as he is just a wicket away from becoming the fastest spinner to take 150 wickets in Test cricket history.
Yasir Shah burst on to the scene in 2014 and just after 13 games he became No.1 bowler in International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings. He picked up 86 wickets during that session.
That was not it, Australian legend Shane Warne was so impress with his talent that he offered him coaching and had a few session with the 31-year-old.
And, now he is on the verge of becoming the fasted spinner to take 150 wickets in the Test cricket. He could also level the record of the great Waqar Younis, who achieved the same fiat in just 27 Test matches.
Yasir has so far played 26 games and picked up 149 wickets with best figures of 7/76.
It is pertinent to mention here that, the record is currently held by the magician himself Saeed Ajmal. He completed 150 wickets in just 29 matches.
