The President RCCI pointed out the nuisance of encroachments in causing traffic jams and demanded of the CTO that anti-encroachment drive should be kicked off at earliest to widen up the roads, adding "It will not only help in terms of avoiding traffic jams but also would lighten up the traffic load."
Shabbir suggested that construction of parking plazas would also play a very vital role in this regard, adding that business community was facing overcharges or cancellation of orders owing to late transportation of goods. He urged it is need of the hour to construct new roads to meet the future requirements of business. "Promotion of business activities depends upon the transportation system of the country", he added.
