Capital Development Authority (CDA) got a good response for auction of the commercial plots located in Blue Area and sector F-10 (old Margalla Tower) despite depressing estate market prices. The auction for these plots was held here on Monday at CDA Headquarters.
According to details a plot measuring 4608 sq yards in Blue Area get a successful bid from the Federal Government Employees Benevolent Fund at the rate of Rs 210,000 sq yard. The total amount to be calculated against this auction is Rs 967.68 million. The plot of ex Margalla Tower located in sector F-10 measuring 11750 sq got a final bid of Rs 115, 000 per square yards with a total amount to be calculated as Rs 1351.25 million.
The Auction Committee consisted of Member Finance, Member Estate and Member Engineering whereas; Deputy Financial Advisor acted as Secretary of the Auction Committee. The received final bids during the auction would be presented to the CDA Board, which is the final authority to accept or reject these bids.-PR
