Managing Director PIA Captain Aijaz Haroon has ordered an inquiry regarding the landing of PK 701 at Moscow, that landed there due to technical reasons. The inquiry report is to be submitted within 24 hours, a PIA spokesperson said on Monday. Moreover, an Islamabad-Manchester 'relief flight' for Moscow carrying 178 passengers on board left Karachi on Monday afternoon for onwards journey.
The relief flight is expected to reach Moscow at 1:00pm (GMT) and will take off form Moscow by 2:00pm (GMT) for Manchester, reaching there at 7 P.M. (GMT) During stay in transit at Moscow airport, the stranded passengers were looked after with the help of the ground airport staff.-PR
