KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 23,421.76 points with a positive change of 236.66 and volume of 76,688,100 shares. High and Low were 23,631.29 and 23,183.01 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 24 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 145,412,890 shares. Total companies traded were 370 of which 127 were positive, 223 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,543,000 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 14,187,600 shares.
