Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Muhammad Pervez Rathore, has said that public service is the sole mission of traffic wardens. CCPO directed traffic wardens to keep a vigil on suspicious elements and suspected vehicles during their duty hours.
Addressing a meeting of traffic police officers, CCPO said that the basic purpose of duty of traffic wardens was to extend help to the people, instead of emphasising on the number of challans. He directed the traffic wardens to perform their duties with dedication and play their vital role in creating awareness of traffic rules among the masses.
