Zyxel is releasing a new Powerline adapter. The PLA-407 is certified based on the HomePlug AV standard and includes an integrated plug. The device transfers data using a home's own electrical wiring at gross transfer rates of 200 megabits per second.
The plug built into the PLA-407 allows another device to use the same wall plug that the adapter itself is using. One individual adapter costs 65 dollars; a two-pack costs 128 dollars.
