Five more critically injured succumbed to their wounds at local hospitals on Sunday, following a deadly suicide hit at volleyball ground in Lakki Marwat district, raising the death toll to 100 while 87 others sustained injuries, police said.
The injured of Lakki Marwat blast are being treated at Lady Reading Hospital, Khyber Teaching Hospital and Hayatabad Medical Complex here. Some of the injured were admitted at Bannu and Lakki Marwat hospitals.
Meanwhile, more than 30 'Kacha houses' have collapsed due to the intensity of the explosion. The DPO Lakki Muhammad Ayub Tanoli when contacted said that 41 suspects have been arrested and investigation is underway. He said that rescue operation has already been completed and debris of collapsed buildings removed.
