Painting Exhibition "Neo -ironical Visual Dialogue by Anbrin Zafar was inaugurated by Lawyer and Human Rights Activist Hina Jillani and famous actress Faryal Gohar at Nairang Art Galleries on Monday. The work of Anbrin Zafar is an attempt to explore various types and uses of irony and the evolution and escalation of the ironic statement in post-modern art, as it has moved from subtle or delicate encoded gesture to the grand hyperbole of visual arts aesthetic.
Being an ironist she is very much keen to observe and create ironies to deliver serious and thought provoking messages in visual language through her chosen medium. In her paintings life objects have their own humour and using juxtaposition of these contradictory incompatible elements she gives new dimension to her visual dialogue.
