Different cities of southern Punjab came under the severe fog, which has greatly disturbed the life of commuters. The dense mist totally covered the entire city and people had to face a lot of difficulty in mobility. About five people died in different road accidents occurred in the small hours on Monday due to dense fog. All the flights bound for Multan were cancelled due to unfavourable weather condition.
The situation become even worse for the citizens as there was also no gas and electricity early in the morning and kids have to go school and men to their offices without having breakfast. Most of the students and men to their offices reached late because of this fog. As it happened in the past, this year too a severe wave of coldness spread over the city just after the ending of winter vacations.
