The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) office-bearers and workers held a ceremony in connection with the 82nd birth anniversary of the Pakistan Peoples' Party's founder and former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Shaheed here on Tuesday.
Addressing the ceremony, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) District President YRK Javed Ahmed Dhillon said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was the greatest leader of the world community who gave freedom of speech to the most downtrodden in the country.
He said the PPP-led government was taking forward the political ideology, the mission and the philosophy of Z A Bhutto so that the people could get at least all the basic necessities of life. "The NFC award is the greatest achievement of the government, which has been approved after 19 years," he highlighted.
