Summaries of the ICE Futures US cocoa, coffee and sugar markets early on Wednesday. March arabica coffee up 0.70 cent to $1.4380 per lb at 10:53 am EST (1553 GMT). Session range from $1.4275 to $1.4510. March raw sugar jumped 0.47 cent to 27.83 cents per lb by 10:53 am.
Trading range from 27.40 to 28.09 cents. Sugar climbed on investor buying as the sweetener extended its rally, fuelled by tight supplies and a robust demand outlook in first-half 2010, said traders. Benchmark March cocoa rose $44 to $3,386 per tonne by 10:53 am. Trading range from $3,307 to $3,400, the highest since December 18.
