The prices moved both ways on the Karachi wholesale grain and Seeds market on Monday in process of trading, dealers said. On the seeds side rapeseed Dadulane gave up Rs 50 to Rs 1200-1250. Rapeseed cakes followed the same pattern and lost Rs 10 to Rs 740-750 and cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1050 while the best quality did not change at Rs 1080, they said.
On the grams side gram 50x50 low type gained Rs 200 to Rs 4150 and good type also gained Rs 300 to Rs 4350. Gram dal 50x50 rose by Rs 200 to Rs 4900-5100, yellow peas Canada lost Rs 50 to Rs 2875-3025, yellow peas dal Canada also shed the same amount at Rs 3200-3350. Bajra was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1950-2800, they said.
A few changes were seen on the cereals side, where wheat with Bardana quoted at Rs 2680, and gur low type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 5700 and best type did not show any change at Rs 6200, they added. On the rice side Irri-6 Sindh quoted at Rs 2825 amid sluggish demand, other items did not show any change due to balanced demand and supply, they said.
