The chairman was briefed regarding availability of water in different water sources and reservoirs and the measures being taken to minimise the impacts of the crisis situation. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that due to dry weather conditions there is a substantial decrease in the availability of water in the water reservoirs, adding that CDA is making all out efforts to ensure provision of water to the residents.
He called upon the residents of Islamabad to cooperate with CDA in conserving water to ensure availability of the water till the dry weather spell is over and rains come in to increase the water level in the reservoirs. He said that the residents should not only use the water in efficient manner, but also conserve it to cope with this crisis. He said that the efforts of the CDA can not be fruitful without the positive co-operation of the residents.-PR
