Area Manager Operation (AMO) Chamkani Sub-Division detect 115 electricity stealing cases and registered FIRs in local Police Station against electricity stealers. Pesco has initiated drive against illegal use of electricity and in this regard the chief executive of the company had directed the officials for taking all possible measures to curb the illegal use of electricity.
Manager Operation, Peshawar Circle Said Ghaffar directed to implement the instructions in letter and spirit and root out the power pilferage and kunda culture so that the line losses could be controlled. In this connection Chamkani Sub Division of Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco's) special team has raided and checked areas of Sorizai Bala, Sorizai Payan and Mosazai in the jurisdiction of Chamkani Sub Division and about 115 consumers were caught red handed for illegal use of electricity and FIRs against those Consumers involved in power pilferage have been registered in the respective Police Station.
Drive against illegal use of electricity and Kunda system will continue, Pesco authorities have once again warned electricity stealers to stop power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation, due to which Pesco has to face huge line losses on one hand and on the other hand Pesco's whole distribution system gets over loaded and the general public faces inconvenience of frequent power break downs.
POWER SHUTDOWN: Due to necessary repair and maintenance work power supply will remain suspended from 132 KV Peshawar City Grid Station on 21st January from 8.30 AM to 3:00 pm, resultantly the consumers of 11 KV Faqir Abad feeder will face inconvenience. Similarly, power supply will remain suspended from 132 KV Shahi Bagh Grid Station on 21st January from 8.30 am to 3:00 pm resultantly the consumers of 11 KV Faqir Abad-1 Feeder will face inconvenience.
