Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) has arranged two training courses at its Gems and Jewellery Training and Manufacturing Centre (GJTMC) here. The month-long training course on `Manual Jewellery Designing' commenced on Wednesday and will continue till February 19. As many as 15 participants from the Gems and Jewellery industry of Pakistan are attending this course.
The PGJDC has also arranged a three-day training course on `Cost Management' at its GJTMC in Karachi. The announcement further said that this course will start from January 21. As many as 10 participants have been enrolled in this training course. According to organizers, the Manual Jewellery Designing training course will help the participants in developing basic designing skills required for jewellery manufacturing.
Free hand drawing techniques are imparted through these training courses which are fundamentals for starting a career in jewellery designing. Management of cost and expenses is a vital success factor for trade and this course will help the participants manage their expenses and accordingly make effective decisions for their businesses.
