Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the Sindh Katchi Abadis (Amendment) Bill 2009 would soon be approved to regularise all katchi abadis of the province. This stated while presiding over a meeting at the Chief Minister House on Thursday, which reviewed the Sindh Katchi Abadis (Amendment Bill) 2009 in detail.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said present government would give ownership rights of the residents of Goths and katchi abadis, established on the government's land. He claimed his party had already made progress in this regard. Qaim said the bills would shortly be approved by the provincial assembly so that other problems of the katchi abadis could be addressed.-PR
