Government planning to set up Punjab Water, Sanitation Academy

A consultative workshop on "Punjab Water and Sanitation Academy" is being organised by Urban Unit of Planning and Development Department Punjab with the co-ordination of Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) Lahore.
According to a Wasa's spokesman here on Thursday, representative team of Government of Japan, JICA Consultants and officials would present their findings regarding Wasa's current working status and discuss need of the capacity development, existing initiatives, institutional framework, goals, constructions, capacity developments areas, technical training, management training, technical skilled based training, curriculum and training material development, training of faculty and co-teaching, equipment for the academy.
