DCO Saeed Wahlah visited the site of under completion building of museum and inspected the construction work of museum. He directed that the building of the museum should be completed within stipulated period and high quality construction work should be ensured for its durability.
He observed that the design and style of construction work should be matched with the adjacent victorial style building of Allama Iqbal Public Library. He said that the future requirements should be kept in view for the establishment of exit and entryways, parking areas and other different sections of the museum.
He also visited adjacent library and said the uplifting work of this library would also be carried out for its renovation and it would be made modern library. He issued necessary directions for the rehabilitation of library. EDO works Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam and DO building Muhammad Nawaz Gazi briefed the DCO regarding the pace of construction work and specification of the layout plan. DOC Liaqat Ali Chattha and others officers were also present on the occasion.
