College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) in collaboration with American College of surgeons has organised 1st Advance Trauma Live Support (ATLS) course at CPSP Lahore Center here on Friday. The spokesman of CPSP Lahore center Vaqas Aslam said that Pakistan is the only country, which is organising this international trauma course under the auspices of American College of Surgeons in this region.
Professor Christopher Chairman American College of Surgeons and Professor John Cart Beck, Chairman of Trauma Committee conducted courses of ATLS. He said that there will be a reasonable reduction in accidental ailments and disabilities after the doctors are trained through this international course. He said that CPSP has already trained 130 trainee doctors and 30 instructors in Karachi through this course in collaboration with American College of Surgeons.
