A tractor trolley crushed 6 persons in the Qutabpur area killing a mother and her two daughters on the spot, while another three sustained injuries. Police said that Abdul Waheed, his wife Rashida (40), her daughter Malaika (7) and Hifza (4) were going to their home on a motorcycle.
As they reached Lakkar Mandi (Timber Market), another motor cyclist Muhammad Aslam with his wife Shamim Akhtar, appeared suddenly and both families fell on the ground. In the meantime, a tractor trolley crushed them. Police said Rashida and her two daughters died on the spot. The injured were shifted to the hospital.
