Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted six benches for next week starting from January 25 at the Principal seat Islamabad to hear a number of cases.
The first bench includes Chief Justice, Justice Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed (not to sit on January 25) and Justice Ghulam Rabbani, second bench of Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and Justice Muhammad Sair Ali, third bench of Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, fourth bench of Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Rahmat Hussain Jaffri and Justice Tariq Parvez, fifth bench of Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani and Justice Mahmood Akhtar Shahid Siddiqui and sixth bench of Justice Nasir ul Mulk and Justice Jawwad S. Khawja.
According to cause lists issued by the Registrar office no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case. No Adjournment on any ground will be granted.
