Lahore High Court Complaint Cell in charge has sought a detailed report from DPO Sheikhupura by January 25 about investigation in murder of an officer in Honda Atlas Factory Irfan Mir.
A complaint was filed by Haji Muhammad Yaqoob Mir, a local leader of PML-N, stating that his relative Irfan Mir on January 18 left the Honda factory for his home but when he reached at Sheikhupura road near Sufi Soap factory, two persons intercepted him and fired at him.
Irfan was seriously injured and was taken to Mayo Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. An FIR under section 302/34 PPC was registered regarding the incident at police station Factory Area district Sheikhupura. He, therefore, prayed to the court to take notice of the matter and direct the police to arrest the killers at the earliest.
